It’s a gem! Delicious butter milk biscuits for sure, but the egg galette is even better;) 10.16.2021 Bad habit ice cream! Love the roasted banana with coffee caramel:)

Great neighborhood spot with some very good fare. The rhubarb crumble and scone were great in flavor and texture. The biscuit was equally delicious. Can see why this place was so busy in this quiet neighborhood.

Busy place on weekends but food and coffee were worth the wait . Also tables outside are a plus

Had the biscuit sandwich & egg sandwich, both great. Would eat again. Pastry selection is great but didn’t get anything.

Small cafe but with so much options. For breakfast great coffee with fresh pastries, egg sandwich, frittata. For lunch choice of sandwiches and salads also you can get some fresh food home for dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Ahh Wish I lived closer! Poppy’s coffee cake is for sure one of the best in town! There are lots of pastries to choose from, as well as many yummy sandwiches. And the cold brew is pretty good too!

A neighbor gem that makes me wish I lived in the neighborhood. The buttermilk biscuits, specifically the weekend biscuit egg sandwich standout. The egg galette you see in this image was as good as it looks. The cardamom coffee cake was solid too.

Dropped by on my regular Sunday morning excursion to local NYC cafes, and Poppy's did not disappoint. Their cappuccino is top-notch, recommend pairing it with their homemade lemon poppyseed loaf, which was the best I have ever had. The place can get really busy around 9:30am on a Sunday morning, so be prepared to wait a few minutes after you place your order. Would love this place even more if it had indoor seating (it's a small shop), but I definitely intend to come back to enjoy some more of their menu in their outdoor seating area.
